“ This restaurant had really good French food, it was one of the few restaurants in Toledo that offered French foods you couldn't find in other restaurants around the area. It was a little saltier for my taste but the portions were big, it had a nice ambiance and was delicious. So sad that it is closed now.. ”
“ This place has wonderful food and the music on Friday nights is great! We sit in the lounge to listen to the music. The panne con gorgonzola and blackened tuna are both small plates and are very very good. ”
“ We love coming here for First Friday Art Walk in uptown Sylvania. Great atmosphere in a historic old building. Food and service are always great. This night I had salade L'hiver, grilled chicken on a bed of fresh spinach with sliced apples, beets and almonds. Yummy as was the New England clam chowder. Husband had beef wellington, which I've had before, and it's definitely great comfort food. Would highly recommend. ”
“ Was trying to go to a little cafe in Sylvania on Main Street but it closed at 5:30. I parked at a city lot in the back and while walking to the cafe I got the call they were closed. I spotted this open door and the person coming out asked me if I was going in. I said," I am now." I decided it must be Good Karma so we went to Treo. This is my new favorite restaurant. We have been exploring restaurants in the Sylvania area. Trying all the places that we have never set foot in. I had an excellent Eggplant Parmesan. Nice portions, lightly fried and wonderful flavor. We also ordered a Salmon w Maple Glaze and Angel Hair Pasta. The Salmon was incredible. Fresh bread that was warm with a little crust. The very best Tiramisu I have had in Ohio. The New England Clam Chowder was also top-notch. I would disagree with a recent poster about decor. It wasn't crowded when I went during the week at 5:30 but the tables did seem a little close to each other. Decor was elegant and relaxing. Service was impeccable. Finally, a decent restaurant that wasn't playing Frank Sinatra. They had a modern kind of Jazz vibe going that just added to the ambience. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant that is a little on the pricey side but worth every penny for great food and great service. ”
“ This place is just fantastic, so refreshing to go to such a unique, trendy little restaurant. The restaurant itself is very nicely set up between the dining area and the bar. We sat at a corner table next to a big window overlooking the corner of downtown sylvania. It really did remind me of a place you'd go to in Ann Arbor, it's awesome to have a place like this in our neck of the woods. The prices are a little high, but worth it as the food was very good. I got the beef wellington and it was amazing, it came with cream cheese and scallion mashed potatoes, and walnut green beans. And they brought me a side of pasta to by accident for no charge. Everything was so good I didn't want to stop eating, I was so stuffed I could barely move!! It was my birthday so I got a free desserts, I got banana bread pudding omg it was delicious but I only took a few bites as I was ready to explode I was so stuffed!! I will definitely be going back to this gem of a resturant ”
“ One of my new favorite places! They have different sections of the restaurant depending on what kind of mood you're in. The main dinning room is very nice and very well decorated, a great atmosphere. They also have a lounge area with couches and tables to just sit and relax and chat with your fans, again, the decor is very pleasing and inviting. The food is great! A bit pricey for dinner, but its worth it, because the food is great and you get good sized portions and sides. The drink menu and wine menu is great! Great selection of wines and top shelf liquor, as well as a great selection of beer, both draft and bottles. And as of writing this, Thursday nights are half off burgers! Which are also very good! Check them out! You won't be disappointed. ”
“ Fantastic place! You don't feel like you're in Ohio, it definitely has a more urban/big city restaurant feel to it. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect place for going on a date. Some of their menu options are more of a tapas type food portion, so be sure to ask about the items and order a few things to share, if that's the case. ”
“ I agree with the first reviewer - the food is great but the service sucks. While our server was attentive, for the most part, she had quite an attitude. There was 5 people in our party and everyone was very happy with their entrees. I would highly recommend both the blackened salmon and the pork tenderloin. I live in the neighborhood so I've watched Treo's business steadily increase over the last 6 months or so. Hopefully more customers have my experience and not the previous reviewers - Treo has potential to be a great restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere, great decor... if only they could get the service part right. ”
